  I visited the Cedar Street Tavern for dinner with a friend last Monday.  I have driven by this place many times, yet never been.  This is a small restaurant/bar located at 120 North Cedar Street on the corner of 5th and Cedar. It is right beside Post Gateway Place, and the new Johnson and Wales building.

  Oktoberfest is coming, and those wacky Germans are getting prepared.

  A German brewer has concocted what he says is the world’s strongest beer, a potent drink with an alcohol content of 25.4 percent that is served in a shot glass.

  New Look, New Bar! August 31st, 2005 Posted by Hunter Wilson

  Things have changed a bunch at one of our favorite spots downtown. If you haven"t swung into Uptown Cabaret to see the new bar and new renovations outside, you are missing out! Instead of the bar being crowded in the corner, it is now at the front with a wide open area to drink, hang out, and of course have a great view.

  Stool Pigeons: UNC-Charlotte's Watering Hole August 29th, 2005 Posted by Hunter Wilson

  Things at Stool Pigeons: University has been heating up. This past Saturday we swung in for the Back to School party and were greeted by a flock of waitresses in bikinis. I don"t know about you, but there isn"t a better outfit for an attractive staff like Stool Pigeons. Check out those party pictures here.

  If there is one club in the Carolinas that has truly figured out what a nightlife experience is supposed to be about, it"s Club Kryptonite. Through solid promotions, superior sound, décor, lighting, and effects this establishment elevates your nightlife to a point I rarely see elsewhere.

  Chicks Dig PECKERS!! July 29th, 2005 Posted by Hunter Wilson

  That"s what it said on my waitresses T-Shirt.  This is of course referring to Charlotte"s best place for wings, DD Peckers Wing Shack! (What did you think I meant you dirty little pervert")  I feel it necessary to write a review of this establishment, because I have eaten there 3 or 4 times over the course of July.  I had an excellent experience with each visit.
